Homes and offices will feature facial recognition access and tablet-like terminals controlling up to 100 devices, from appliances to energy systems. “We want to come up with better energy management systems,” said Akari Yasuda to Toyota Times. “This system lets us monitor real-time electricity use in homes.”

If successful, Woven City could become a model for smart cities worldwide, demonstrating the future of urban living and human-robot collaboration.

MIT Develops AI-Powered Drone Control System for Unpredictable Conditions

Researchers at MIT have developed a machine learning-based adaptive control system designed to help autonomous drones navigate unpredictable and challenging environments. The system could play a crucial role in tackling emergencies like wildfires, where strong winds often push drones off course.

Unlike traditional programming, operators don’t need detailed knowledge of environmental conditions. “The control system’s artificial intelligence model learns everything it needs from just 15 minutes of observational flight data,” MIT stated in a press release.
